A fascinating, multiple-award winning (and still counting) documentary filmed over 26 years of the adult life of the title character, a woman named Marcela. Blending all sorts of footage together while maintaining the correct, documentary feel of this somber story, and cleaning up some 26 year-old scratches were all part of the process for grading and effects of this emotionally overwhelming film.
