This project featured a lot of challenges in post production. Cutting costs, the film was “scanned” in telecine with a flat correction. The output went to HDSR with a horizontal squeeze in order to keep as much data as possible on the 1920×1080 HD Tape. The HD was imported into Pablo and from thereon it was a typical Digital Intermediate Process. The VFX work on this project was very diverse, including a fantastic effect of bringing to life a painting as a camera pans accross it. We will get that into the VFX section soon!
